Abstract


It is well known that environmental and
development crises have devastating effects.
This article seeks to demonstrate
that the implications of those crises have
repercussions on health and population
migration in Africa. It is concluded that
development inappropriate to the environmental
conditions results in a series
of debilitating conditions for the health
of the population. In turn these conditions
can trigger further crisis in addition
to whatever natural calamities and
population increases occurring.
