Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  • When available, the URLs to access references online are provided, including those for open access versions of the reference. The URLs are ready to click (e.g., http://pkp.sfu.ca).
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  • If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review) have been followed.

Author Guidelines

  • Submission of a manuscript to IJCST implies that the manuscript is not under consideration by other journals and that the contents of it have not been published anywhere else.
  • Manuscripts should be no longer than 8000 words (including tables, appendices, and references and notes).
  • An abstract of 150-200 words is required.
  • The entire manuscript (all text, references, and endnotes) must be double-spaced, in Times New Roman font, 12 point size. Consult The Chicago Manual of Style (15th edition) for specific examples and directions.
  • All enquiries and requests must be sent ONLY to the editor at reza.barmaki@yahoo.com
  • Do not send emails to any other email addresses.
  • Do not email any other members of the editorial board
  • Do not email any member of any department at any university in regards to your enquiries and requests about your submitted article to the journal
  • Do not email your paper to the editor directly.  Submit it through the journal.  Carefully read the procedures regarding submission and then follow the steps carefully in order to make sure successful submission of your article to the journal.  Upon successful submission you will receive an automatic confirmation email.
  • The review period is long.  Be patient.  The journal will contact you in due time or when needed.
