Health Tomorrow: Interdisciplinarity and Internationalityis an open-access journal founded by members of the York Institute for Health Research (YIHR). YIHR is home to a new breed of health researchers who actively conduct research from within interdisciplinary teams and cross-sectoral networks. YIHR draws together a range of social, biomedical, political, environmental, and behavioural scientists, as well as researchers from business, law, education, and the physical sciences. As a result, research at YIHR seeks to bridge the divide between the sciences and the social sciences and encourages a range of theoretical, empirical, and interdisciplinary orientations to research.
This digital journal offers another forum for students to become involved in interdisciplinary health research and share their findings with others in a collegial environment. We welcome you to our website, encourage you to browse around, and hope that you may be interested in making a submission to our current edition.

ISSUE 2 UPDATES
The editorial team for the Health Tomorrow Journal would like to formally thank all the authors who submitted for our second issue. We appreciate all of your hard work on these papers! We have been working away at getting these articles through the peer-review process and hope to have the issue up on our website as soon as possible.
Did you know that each article submitted to Health Tomorrow is reviewed by one student and one academic (i.e. someone with a PhD) reviewer?
If you are interested in submitting to our journal, look out for a call for Issue 3 in the late fall of 2014.
We also welcome the contributions of folks interested in reviewing articles or joining our editorial team.
